ABOUT THE TEAM

The Flower Bodega
Roehm Hepler-Gonzalez

The Flower Bodega was first born in New Orleans between myself and my beautiful partner, Katy. Together we built a quaint flower market and library in a pink stucco corner shop. I am returning to Benton Harbor, Michigan - to work the land and give you the flowers. I specialize in wildflower and local harvest of bouquets and floral pieces - harvesting from my small scale and sustainable flower farm, we can create responsible floral adornments by selecting in season and local flowers.

Alex Noelle Letters
Alex Schaeffer

I started my lettering journey about three years ago in an attempt to find something to relax and unwind. Low and behold I found something that I love so much and has brought me so much joy. I love the art of hand lettering and have been practicing since day one to zero in on my signature style. Not only does the personalization of something special give me all the feels but I love the emotion behind all the words created. This shoot was really special as it showcases how romantic a wedding is with the vibrant colors and the hand lettered pieces add the perfect personal touch.

Sundance is located in the village of Millburg, amongst the “Wedding Belt" of Southwest Michigan. Just 1.5 hours from Chicago and 2.5 hours from Detroit…making it a perfect middle area for your out of town guests. The owners Amelia & Kirby Briske are cutting edge Designers and Artist who met while Studying Fine Art in Chicago 18 years ago. This Husband and Wife team have taken an abandoned bank, a historical blacksmith shop and farm equipment station and turned it into a one of a kind Venue. Truly nothing like it! The Dining room itself offers a cement block/white washed walls…. with steel framed factory windows - This room is full of hand made chandeliers, an assortment of wood tables and vintage touches everywhere - just adjacent is the dancehall (once a blacksmith shop) has a rustic “A" framed ceiling - It is raw and cool! The Ceremony site is located thru the Parlor doors in the courtyard (outback) … yes it is a Secret Garden! Nestled in this area is the Bridal cottage and Grooms Garage - with stone paths that lead you to every magical spot. The courtyard is influenced by old European gardens - Roses, Lavender, Sage & Fern. Decorative white steel railings line the walk way to the arbor which is framed by Huge Arborvitae tree. A Vintage bar is located just down a hill for the perfect Outdoor cocktail party.

O'honey Day of Coordination
Markianna Svorec

Stepping foot into the wedding industry when I was 20 was a very interesting beginning to my career! Working my first job with Millcreek Wilde, then moving onto Sundance Studios to manage. In my 25th year, I opened up O'honey day of coordination, to start coordination on my own. I've not only met, but befriended so many beautiful, kind vendors - taking away stories, memories and laughter from every event. This industry is such a wild ride, but I wish everyone could see it from my view. It was so wonderful to be able to finally do a styled shoot with the inspiration that surrounds me at every wedding. With this shoot we wanted to re-focus back to the feeling of it all, and really hone in on that. The raw, unfiltered feeling of love.
